###
LaDue Design, an upstate NY-based multimedia company, announces
an Internet development project for United Cerebral Palsy of New
York City. The project will redesign, streamline and modernize the
UCPNYC.org Web site for re-launch in early September.
The
newly designed Web site will continue to serve as an important resource
for people with disabilities and their families but will do so with
improved accessibility and navigation. Access to information on
UCP/NYC's numerous services, consumer news and events, and referrals
to other local, national and international resources will be easily
accessible to the disability community, professionals in the disability
service field, and others. Additionally the site will include useful
new features like site registration and site search, on-line publications,
site location maps, a visitor response form, and on-line registration
for events such as family and health conferences.
UCP/NYC's
modernized site will also appeal to those individuals and corporations
that wish to get involved with the organization. Volunteers, donors
and event goers will enjoy new and efficient features such as on-line
registration for fundraising events, secure on-line donations, e-commerce,
and on-line newsletters and annual reports.
Founded
in 1946 and currently serving over 10,000 infants, children and
adults with developmental disabilities and their families annually,
UCP/NYC is the largest of 115 UCP affiliates nationwide.
LaDue
Design will customize the UCP/NYC Web site to be fully handicap
accessible, adhering to strict 'Bobby' guidelines. LaDue Design,
LLC, founded in 1994, specializes in design and development for
the Internet and print. For more information please visit www.laduedesign.com.
